Why Healing the Lower 3 Chakras Changes Everything

Unlocking the Power of the Lower Chakras: Root, Sacral & Solar Plexus

When we talk about spiritual growth or healing, it’s easy to focus on the higher chakras—the crown, the third eye, the throat—as gateways to divinity. But true embodiment begins at the foundation. The lower three chakras—Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus—hold the key to how we experience life in this body, on this Earth, in this moment.

The Solar Plexus: Center of Power and Acceptance

Let’s start with the Solar Plexus Chakra, located just above the belly button. This is the center of our personal power, confidence, and will. When this chakra is open, we feel a deep sense of trust in life. We are able to say “yes” to the moment as it is. Acceptance becomes our resting state.

But when we begin to judge, criticize, condemn, or curse life or ourselves, we shut this energy center down. It becomes blocked, and with it, we lose access to the inner flame that fuels our confidence, clarity, and forward movement.

An open Solar Plexus not only brings personal alignment, but it also unlocks the Sacral Chakra right below it.

The Sacral Chakra: Joy, Aliveness, and Creative Flow

The Sacral Chakra, just beneath the navel, is the seat of creativity, sensuality, and inner joy. When this chakra is flowing, we feel fully alive in our bodies. We don’t just exist—we feel. We create. We move. We dance through life’s ups and downs with a sense of emotional fluidity and expression.

This center governs our ability to feel pleasure, to access our imagination, and to connect with the moment through sensation. But without the Solar Plexus open above it, the Sacral can become disconnected—either overactive (craving validation or external pleasures) or underactive (feeling numb, dry, or stuck).

When both these chakras are open, we have a stable bridge between our inner fire and our creative flow.

The Root Chakra: From Survival to Belonging

And this bridge sends energy downward into the Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine. This is our foundation—our sense of safety, stability, and belonging. When it's blocked, we operate from survival mode: fear, scarcity, control. But when it’s open, we thrive. We feel grounded, supported, and connected to life, to Earth, and to our place in the world.

This sense of groundedness allows all other energetic centers to operate in alignment. But many of us carry deep-rooted childhood patterns that unconsciously block this chakra—feelings of not being safe, not being enough, or not being wanted. These early judgments create protective barriers that persist into adulthood.

However, these patterns were never meant to be permanent—they were formed so we could heal them in this lifetime.

Why the Lower Chakras Hold the Key to Embodied Wisdom

While the Crown and Third Eye Chakras help us receive divine inspiration, insight, and spiritual guidance, that wisdom cannot be truly integrated unless we are grounded. If the lower three chakras are blocked, we may have brilliant ideas, visions, or awakenings—but we won’t be able to alchemize those into action or reality.

This is why healing the lower chakras is not just about the body—it’s about the embodiment of spiritual truth. It's what allows heaven to land in the here and now.

Healing the Lower Chakras Heals the Heart

When we work on the lower three chakras, we begin to naturally soften and open the Heart Chakra—the bridge between our earthly self and our spiritual self. The heart is often armored, especially from past heartbreaks, betrayals, or disappointments. Many people unknowingly live with a closed heart to avoid being hurt again.

But healing the Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus provides the safety and inner strength needed to start letting that armor go.

As the heart opens, we no longer need to protect or perform. We begin to connect from a place of authenticity. Love becomes less about fear and more about flow.

The Throat Chakra: Reclaiming Your Voice, Your Power

Once the heart is open, it naturally sends energy up into the Throat Chakra, our center of expression and truth. With a healed lower body and an open heart, we can now speak our truth—not with anger or reactivity, but with kindness, compassion, and love.

This is how we reclaim our voice.

This is how we take our power back.

We no longer silence ourselves to be accepted. We no longer speak from fear or need. We communicate with clarity, anchored in our truth, and connected to our heart.

The Full Circle: Grounded Spirit in Action

Healing the lower chakras isn’t just about stability—it’s about embodiment. When our lower chakras are open and flowing, we create the perfect landing pad for the divine insights of our higher chakras—the throat, third eye, and crown. Instead of escaping into spiritual ideals, we bring that light back into the body, into the moment, into the now.

We don’t just channel divine wisdom—we live it.

Rooted. Expressed. Aligned. Empowered.
